Ted has been a member of the Dutchess team since 1999 and has held several management positions. As the firm’s Chief Operating Officer, he currently oversees all aspects of Dutchess’s administrative functions including regulatory compliance as well as the firm’s finance and audit departments. Ted also directs deal closings, ongoing administrative matters regarding the firm’s portfolio investments and is a member of the Investment Committee. Doug oversees the due diligence process on prospective portfolio investments. This process includes initial analysis and research. He is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to joining Dutchess in 2004, Doug was a Financial Advisor for six years in the Private Client Group of Prudential Securities, where he advised individual and institutional investors. Doug began his career as a manager of several FDIC New England contracts, the HUD single family Massachusetts contract, and as an investor in distressed government-owned properties. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Hobart College in 1993 and earned his Master of Science in Finance with High Distinction from Bentley College in 2005.

Jessica leads the Corporate Finance team at Dutchess, overseeing the firms structured financing program.  She works directly with senior management of publicly traded companies, assisting them secure alternative forms of financing.  Prior to joining Dutchess, Jessica was a financial representative for Northwestern Mutual, where she advised individuals and small businesses.  Jessica has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Edward has nearly 5 years of hedge fund experience.  As  VP of Business Development, Edward is in charge of all aspects of Investor Relations and marketing.  He also serves as a member of our Corporate Finance team.  He previously served as Director of Marketing at Solios Asset Management, overseeing the marketing efforts of three funds.  Ed received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Harvard University and his Master of Science in Management from Boston University. .

Ashton leads Dutchess Capital's business development initiatives in Australia.  He oversees operations for the Australian market and works extensively to help facilitate financing for ASX-listed companies, as well as companies across global exchanges. Prior to joining Dutchess in 2010, Ashton was an Associate at Bellwether Associates. He has 7 years of experience in hedge fund and investment management operations, including analyst roles at SAC Capital Advisors and Wellington Management.  He received his BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Chris comes to Dutchess with over 20 years of mortgage finance and capital equipment leasing experience. He spent 10 years with Bennett Mortgage and Investment where he headed up the Bankruptcy Department. He has also held positions with Capital Finance, Norwest and Wells Fargo in mortgage origination. As VP of Corporate Finance, Chris is responsible for expanding the funds portfolio of companies. Chris has a BS in Business Administration - Management from Salem State College 1987.

Clayton is Vice President of Corporate Finance for Dutchess Capital.  He works directly with publicly-traded companies looking to benefit from Dutchess’ experience and innovative financing structures.  He has worked in private equity for over 12 years where he focused on providing capital to growth companies across multiple industries.  Prior to joining Dutchess, Clayton has worked at Spencer Trask Ventures, Latona Associates, and Capstone Partners.  He is a founding member of The Hamilton Business Society of Boston and is a graduate of Hamilton College.
